Day 27 - October 11th

We left John Michael's early Monday morning and drove up to Chicago. Our first stop was to find this sign for the start (or end) or Rt 66.
When Isaac was in A-School he would go into Chicago on the weekends. He thought this bean was pretty cool so he took me to see it.
It was pretty cool to stand under it and take your picture in the reflection.
After the bean we made our way to the top of the Sears Tower.
It was very crowded on the elevators and the observation deck so we didn't stay for too long.

We left Chicago and drove into Michigan. The leafs are changing there and it was beautiful!

We had originally planned to see a lighthouse at Holland State Park, but when we stopped at the Michigan Visitor Center we found out this orchard was much closer.

I was so excited to go through the corn maze and pick apples with Isaac. He hasn't been home for the past four Falls in Jersey so it was great to do Fall things with him!

Apple picking wasn't as exciting for Isaac but we had fun.

The orchard also had a petting zoo. I attempted to feed a pig, got grossed out, and threw the food on the ground - but Isaac picked it up and fed him.
