Day 25 - October 9th

The sun doesn't rise until very late in North Dakota. We left the hotel around 7:30 and it was still pretty dark.
Our next North Dakota stop was to see this huge turtle made of tires.
I'm sure there is much more to see in North Dakota but we stuck to
seeing the 'world's largest' things. After the turtle we went to see the
Worlds Largest Buffalo.
There were actually a good amount of people at the buffalo. We had to wait a
few minutes to take this picture.
After leaving North Dakota we made our way into Minnesota.
We went to see the Source of the Mississippi River.
I thought we were going to just drive up and look at a lake but you were actually
able to cross over this rock bridge at the start of river.
Isaac suggested we just walk across with our sneakers on because the rocks were not covered in water. This worked fine for him, but not me. After almost falling twice I ended up taking one shoe off and still managed to get the other one pretty wet.
Saturday night we stayed with the Smerillo family. It was great to see them and spend some time there.  We couldn't believe how big the kids were! They showed us all of their toys and impressed us with their awards from sports.
