After leaving Memphis we took a turn back west and drove to Metropolis, The Home of Superman |
We drove a couple of hours and didn't see a thing then all of a sudden we were in Superman's home town. The town had a Superman Museum and gift store. |
Right in front of their town hall was this big statue. |
After leaving Metropolis we started to make our way to St. Louis. First we had to stop and take a picture with this large water tower that was shaped like a ketchup bottle. |
We made it to St. Louis and started walking to the Gateway Arch. |
It was so big we couldn't even take a picture of it. |
To ride to the top of arch we has to smush into this little cart. The ride took about four minutes to get to the top and three minutes to get back to the ground. |
The view from the top was great. You were able to see the whole city. |
We left St. Louis to drive to Springfield MO. We got there earlier then we thought so we went to see the original Bass Pro Shop (Pro Bass Shop as I like to call it) |
Isaac felt right at home, and loved walking around the store. |
I didn't have the same reaction as Isaac. It wasn't my favorite stop on our trip. |
The store itself was nice, but there were dead animals everywhere! yuck. |
