Day 3 - September 17th

Friday morning we got up very early and made our way into Yosemite. Isaac was very excited and I didn't really know what to expect. 

As we were driving into the park we had to wait at a traffic light for a detour.  We realized that the detour was because of this HUGE rock slide across the river that had covered the road. This picture really doesn't show how much of the road was covered by rocks that had fallen.. scarrryyy

Beautiful

As soon as we asked someone to take this picture a big buck ran by inches away from us!

In the southern part of Yosemite there is a section of big sequoia trees. We really couldn't believe how big they were.

 This is one that had fallen. 

This was my favorite site of the day. These pictures can't describe how beautiful everything was.

Someone offered to take this picture for us at Glacier Point. It was one of our last stops for the day. I think we could have spent more time at Yosemite, but we have a so much more to see across the USA!
